A new exhibit at the Maine Historical Society titled "Notorious: Maine Crime in the Public Eye, 1690–1940" is offering a deep dive into the state's historical intrigue with true crime.

The exhibit runs from March 14 through December 31 at the Maine Historical Society on Congress Street in Portland.
