Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Token

8 p.m., doors; 9 p.m., show; Monday, Feb. 6. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Through a prolific, albeit quiet grind, Token has morphed into an outlier in hip-hop. Powered by razor sharp wordplay, head-spinning verbal acrobatics, and off-kilter hooks, the Massachusetts born rapper evolves at a dizzying pace. Ben Reilly will open the show. $20. For all ages. STRFKR

STRFKR will perform live in concert Tuesday at Vinyl Music Hall.

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Tuesday, Feb. 7. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. STRFKR, an indie rock band from Portland, Oregon, will perform live in concert. When Joshua Hodges started STRFKR in 2007, he stumbled upon a winning juxtaposition that’s a STRFKR staple to this day: dark (or heavy) lyrics set to happy music. Das Kope will open the show. $22. Communi-Tee Cup: A Putt-Putt Golf Tournament

4 p.m., doors; 4:30 p.m., family tee-off; 6:30 p.m., adults only/krewe tee-off; Thursday, Feb. 9. Goofy Golf, 3924 W. Navy Blvd. Our Corner (formerly Keep Pensacola Beautiful) will be hosting a putt-putt golf tournament to raise funds for annual beautification programs and cleanup initiatives across Escambia County. $30 for adults; $15 for kids younger than 12; $25 for Our Corner members. Dinner and an Aria

5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. Jackson's Steakhouse, 400 S. Palafox St. For the 13th consecutive year, Jackson’s is proud to partner with the Pensacola Opera to present Dinner and an Aria. Pensacola Opera’s Jan Miller Studio Artists Program continues to provide training and performance experience for young opera professionals. Lucero

Lucero will perform live in concert Thursday at Vinyl Music Hall.

Ballet Pensacola's Military Appreciation Performance

7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through 12. Join Ballet Pensacola in honoring the dedication and bravery of the United States Military. This performance will feature artistic director Darren McIntyre’s original choreography “Lights Will Guide You Home,” along with other creations such as “Fleet Week,” “Spartacus,” and more to celebrate the men and women in uniform. Krewe of Cheers Mardi Gras Bingo

7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Coastal County Brewing Company, 3041 E. Olive Road. All krewes are invited to a night of bingo with a Mardi Gras twist. Mardi Gras Market

Downtown Pensacola’s award-winning farmers’ market partners with Pensacola Mardi Gras for a special celebration.

9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza on N. Palafox St. between Wright St. and Garden St. Pensacola Mardi Gras and Palafox Market are collaborating for a special event to celebrate the beginning of the 2023 Mardi Gras season as the award-winning Palafox Market transforms into Mardi Gras Market. All 90 krewes as well as the community can shop for Mardi Gras-themed goods during the special market, held just one week before the Grand Mardi Gras parade. More info: palafoxmarket.com.

Flora-Bama Super Chili Bowl Cook-off

10 a.m., cooking; noon, serving; Saturday, Feb. 11. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The Flora-Bama is hosting the 29th annual Super Chili Bowl Cook-off in support of the American Cancer Society. Join as a competitor or come eat, drink and enjoy. Bike Pensacola’s Slow Ride

11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Alabama Square, 401 W. Gonzalez St. The ride will be about an hour and 10 minutes long, at a casual pace. Nobody will be “dropped” or left behind. Children must be at least 10 years of age to ride their own bicycle, and ages 10 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets are allowed on the rides. Cyclists younger than 16 must wear a helmet by law; ages 16 and older helmets are recommended but are not required by law. More info: 850-687-9968 or bike@pensacolacan.org.

Kids and Kritters Parade

The Kids and Kritters Parade gets underway Saturday on Pensacola Beach.

1:30 p.m., pre-parade show; 2 p.m., parade; Saturday, Feb. 11. Pensacola Beach Casino Beach parking lot. The fun begins when the talented troupe from Dancingly Yours headlines in the pre-parade show. The Kids and Kritters Parade, a walking procession for people and pets, starts at 2 p.m. The grand marshals are Burma Davis and her horse Jesse, followed by the Krewe of Kids’ Royal Court and krewe members. There will be prizes for the best costumed pets and the best mini-floats. Mini-floats can be made on strollers or wagons. This year’s parade theme is “Kritters Under The Sea.” Free. Cirque Spectacular

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Fusing elements of cirque acrobatics, classical dance and contemporary theatre, Troupe Vertigo joins with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra to take you on a spellbinding journey through the world of artistic movement and the thrilling cinematic music of John Williams, Michael Giacchino, Elmer Bernstein, Henry Mancini and more. The Pensacola Mardi Gras Ball

8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Hadji Temple, 800 W. Nine Mile Road. The third annual Pensacola Mardi Gras Ball is a formal event featuring a live brass band and DJ, presented by Thoroughly Immersed Inc. Full length gowns and tuxedos are required. This year is not BYOB, however, purchasing a table comes with two bottles of your choice from a pre-approved list.
