One Australian selected for Prix finals

Australian student Emily Sprout, the 2022 winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Championship, has been selected for the finals of the Prix de Lausanne.

She is one of only 22 finalists chosen from 82 candidates. 

Emily is a pupil at Prima Youth Classical Academy in Qld and is only 16 years old. The finals will be held on Saturday, 4 February, at 2.30pm (Swiss time). The livestream, provided by ARTE Concert, will be available on the Prix website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. The prize winners will be announced around 6pm.

Eleven finalists will receive a scholarship and have the unique opportunity to choose among the most prominent schools and companies of ballet in the world.
