Veon Armenia assists in publishing a book about Armenian opera and ballet theater
YEREVAN, October 17. /ARKA/. Veon Armenia (formerly ArmenTel) telecom operator, trading as Beeline, has assisted in the publication of a book about the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, to be released in December. The book is authored by art critic Sergey Arakelyan.
"We are well aware of the great importance of classical art in changing people's lives for the better. The creation of documentary art works about outstanding figures of Armenian art is important in terms of assessing their contribution," said Veon Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
Sergey Arakelyan, in turn, noted that this will be the only book in which all artists who contributed to the establishment of the theater - conductors, directors, artists, concertmasters, choreographers and singers - are presented.
"We have achieved a good result and will hand to future generations all the wealth of our national opera theater," the art critic said.
Artistic director of the theater Konstantin Orbelian attached importance to cooperation with Beeline in the creation of the book.
"We highly appreciate our cooperation with Beeline, and this book is the best gift for the 85th season of the theater," he said. The collection will be published in 500 copies.
Veon Armenia is part of Veon Group, one of the world's largest integrated telecom operators. It provides fixed and mobile services. -0-
